Salons, spas and barbers
The mobile number is the asset. Collect it properly.
A salon runs on rebooking and on filling the slot a cancellation just opened up. Both of those are a text message to the right client — and under UK law you need real consent to send it. Our login page captures the name, the email and the mobile number while the colour sets, with the marketing opt-in in its own unticked box and the evidence kept. On the way it puts your treatment menu on the one screen your client is definitely looking at.
From £39 per salon per month, no VAT added. No site survey fee, no installation charge, nothing to pay on delivery — it is dispatched from within the UK and arrives configured and ready to plug in.
The list that fills a chair
A number you cannot text is worth nothing on a Thursday.
This is the part of guest WiFi that is worth actual money in a salon, and it is decided in two seconds at the login box.
The cancellation at two o’clock on Thursday
That is the message that pays for everything on this page. A colour cancels, you have a stylist sitting idle for three hours, and the only thing that fills it is a text to the right forty clients. If you cannot lawfully send that text, the slot stays empty.
Marketing by SMS is PECR territory, same as email
A text offering an appointment slot is marketing, and under PECR marketing by text normally needs consent — a clear, positive, specific action from the client. Handing over a mobile number to get on the WiFi is not that, and nor is accepting your terms.
So the opt-in is a separate, unticked box
On Basic + Data Collection, clients enter name, email and mobile number before going online, and the marketing opt-in sits below it on its own, starting empty. Nobody is refused WiFi for leaving it alone — which is the whole point of consent being freely given.
And the evidence is stored with the record
Each client record keeps what they agreed to and when. Since 5 February 2026 the maximum fine under PECR has been £17.5m or 4% of global annual turnover, up from £500,000. A list you can prove is a different asset from a list you hope about.
This is how we build the login step and what we store. It is not legal advice, and we are not your data protection adviser — if your marketing is going to lean hard on this list, have your own adviser read your wording first. The full detail is on the captive portal page.
The chair
The colour is setting. The mask is drying. Your brand is on her screen.
Nobody else on this site gets three uninterrupted hours with a client. It is worth doing something with.
Three hours is the longest attention span you will ever get
A full head of colour, a treatment, a set of extensions. The client is in the building, comfortable, and holding a phone with nothing particular to do with it. No other kind of venue gets that, and almost none of them spend it on anything.
Put your own work on the screen
Your logo and colours on the login page, with your treatment menu, this month’s offer, the retail range, a gift-voucher link or the stylist’s portfolio on it. Change it from our side whenever the season or the promotion changes — no reprinting, no waiting on a supplier.
And a long session is a heavy session
Three hours of scrolling and video from a full salon is real traffic. Time and bandwidth limits are set per access tier and enforced on the router, so a busy Saturday does not turn into a crawling connection for everyone including your card terminal.
The practical side
What it means for the salon that has to run it.
Guest WiFi should not become another thing the front desk babysits between appointments.
Your booking system stays on its own network
The booking tablet, the card terminal, the till and the office PC sit on the network your business runs on. Clients sit on their own. Nothing your business depends on is sharing a network with the waiting area, and no card data ever touches us.
Nobody on the front desk manages a router
There is nothing to reboot and no password on a sticker. The router arrives configured for your salon, and when something needs changing — the wording, an access rule, a limit — we change it from our side, usually the same day.
Barbers and walk-in shops too
A fifteen-minute cut does not need three hours of WiFi, and the argument is different: the login page is still your name rather than a router default, the till is still separate, and there is still no password doing the rounds of the parade.
When your quiet hours actually are
Basic + Data + Guest Insights shows connections and visitor counts by day and hour, new versus returning clients, and how long people stay. It counts the clients who chose to connect rather than everyone through the door — but it is a useful second opinion when you are deciding whether Tuesday morning needs two stylists or one.
Pricing
Three packages, per salon, per month.
Fixed monthly fee, no cap on how many clients connect, no overage charge, and written notice to leave. On rolling monthly, one calendar month's notice. On a 12-month plan, the balance of the term falls due — unless you took the £149 hardware option, in which case a month's notice is all it is.
Basic
£39/moVenues that want guests online in one tap, with their own name on the screen.
Basic + Data Collection
£59/moVenues that want a guest list they can actually use.
Basic + Data + Guest Insights
£89/moVenues that want to know their busy hours and their repeat custom, not just their guest count.
No VAT is added — we are not UK VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay. A second or a third salon is the same price per salon, with one login covering them all and no per-site surcharge. The router is included on a 12-month plan, or £149 one-off if you would rather stay on rolling monthly. No site survey fee. No installation charge. We run on your existing broadband: all we need is a spare network port, a power socket and a spot with good signal to guests. Broadband and line charges are not included. Support runs Monday to Friday, 06:00–15:00 GMT (07:00–16:00 BST).
